As part of his build up towards Challenge Roth, Daniel entered the Ullswater 3k swim event.
Typical of his brilliant swim progress over the past couple of years, Daniel swam at the sharp end of the field and came away with the third place trophy.

I had quite a big problem with wanting to do a triathlon though. I couldn’t swim front crawl … and I mean I literally couldn’t swim a 25m length of a pool.
