Here are a selection of our high intensity / VO2 Max sessions for you to have a look at.
If I had to describe VO2 Max swimming, it would be fast swimming over short distances. Not a pace or effort level you could hold for long distances or long sets.
An 8 or even 9 out of 10 effort.
It is a pace which feels challenging from the very beginning!

A benchmark session & a great VO2 Max set.

Powerful 50s
Power & holding the water well when we swim.

Killer 50s
A strong pace (8 or 9/10 effort – hard, but in control of technique).

A festive favourite that deserves to be swum all year round!

Half the session getting you ready to swim fast, half the session actually swimming fast!
