Continuing the Swim Squad Awards theme, this one is Swim Squad’s Most Regular Swimmer – Or “Swim Squad isn’t Swim Squad until I see this swimmer” award.
This was a close run thing! With so many swimmers who attend Monday and Wednesday sessions week in, week out, competition was fierce!
Consistency is one of the hallmarks of the Squads, with most swimmers attending week after week throughout the year.
There is genuine surprise when some swimmers are missing. “What? Is Sue not here?!” Or I’ve heard the phrase “is it even a Swim Squad if Jan isn’t here” uttered more than once. And whilst Jan & Sue have attended lots and lots of pool sessions this year, it was a really close run thing!
And I had to count the registers more than once to make sure, because it was so close.
When it came down to it, there were five swimmers all within a couple of sessions of each other and all above or close to 80 squad sessions this year!

It’s little surprise that all of these swimmers have performed really well this year and are swimming strong!
