Over the years, I have written many different training programmes and training plans for athletes. In 2023, athletes have followed these training plans for a range of events – from those completing their first ever triathlon to athletes having a great Ironman triathlon performance to athletes running fantastic marathons.

Most athletes that I work with want a coach. Working with me as your coach includes a training programme, but it also includes training and race review, feedback, accountability, guidance, race planning, meetings, phone calls, general 1-1 interaction.
However, not everybody wants this. Some athletes want some structure and guidance and don’t really want or need interaction or feedback. For these athletes, we develop personalised training plans.

Personalised Training Plans
Sometimes you don’t want a full coaching programme. You want an individualised programme you can follow and work through. You may not want or need the feedback or the frequent changes to the plan. In that case, the Training Plan package – Triathlon, Run or Swim – might be for you.
It includes:
- Goal setting & season planning
- Individual training plan designed to meet your athletic goals, whilst taking into account your life, family and work schedule
- Sessions designed to be ‘device-ready’
- Monthly adjustments to your training plan
- All training customised to you, the individual athlete

If you like the idea of the Personalised Training Plan, but the monthly fee is a bit much, then consider a Training Plan. These are a fixed fee – and a lower cost alternative.
Training Plans
- Beginner Triathlete (Sprint & Olympic Distance)
- Ironman 70.3 – Completer / First Timer
- Ironman 70.3 – Competitive
- Ironman – Completer / First Timer
- Ironman – Competitive
Each of the plans above come in three versions
Low Volume – typically two sessions per discipline per week. Six days of training with one day off.
Moderate Volume – three sessions per discipline per week
High Volume – typically, two sessions per day, most days
