Swim Squad Online: Swim Sessions
Do you ever get to the pool and wonder what swim session to do? Or perhaps the sessions that you tend to do regularly are getting a bit stale?
I feel your pain!
To give you a little inspiration, I have included some swim sessions for you, as part of our Swim Squad Online programme. The sessions have all been tested out (by me and our Squad) and are all 3,000m or less. They can be scaled up or down for time and ability level too.
These swim sessions are also underpinned with the technique-focused swim sessions that we also send out. All designed to make you a better swimmer.
We will be adding swim sessions each week – each session with a specific focus to help you improve your swimming.
Types of Sessions
We will be including lots of different types of sessions to help make you a better overall swimmer. Some of the sessions we have developed – and sent out – so far include:
- Threshold sets
- Changing pace sets
- Building pace sets
- Stroke rate sets
- ‘Fast Start Into Threshold’ sets
- Reducing rest sets
- Speedwork sets
- Endurance sets

Swim Sessions
We send out two swim sessions per week to our members. They are a mix of technique, skills, swim conditioning and race preparation.
