I have had a few messages recently asking about swim coaching. Here are some swim options for you to consider …
1️⃣ Open Water Swim Groups
Each session will have a theme and a focus – whether that’s open water skills, a technical aspect or some pace theme. Each session usually has a bit of intensity in there – because we all like to swim fast sometimes! 😀
These sessions are Wednesday (4-5pm & 5-6pm), Saturday mornings (9-10am & 10-11am) plus Sunday mornings (9-10am). They are £10 per session. You can pay as you go or book a block of sessions – up to you.
2️⃣ Pool Swim Squad Sessions
I have two pool-based swim squads each week.
Monday evenings at Huyton (8.45-9.45pm). This session is actually full at the moment.
The second session is on Saturday afternoons at the Liverpool Aquatic Centre and is 90 minutes (1.30 – 3pm). There are spaces available on this session. Again, at the moment, these are £10 per session. If you book a block of sessions, the cost per session drops a bit. These sessions usually have a technique theme which we carry into the ‘main set’ – a block of work aimed at improving our swim fitness and pace.
3️⃣ Remote Coaching
I also offer remote swim coaching. This is for those swimmers who go to the pool / open water on their own and want some structured sessions to ‘get on with’. I would provide some swim sessions – again with different areas of focus – to help you meet your swim goals. I can provide feedback too – if that’s what the swimmer wants.
4️⃣ 1-1 Sessions
These are tailored to the individual based on their needs. We tend to focus on three (maybe four) areas of technique that will have the greatest impact on your swim speed and swim efficiency. We have had some great success with these – with swimmers visibly improving technique and speed during the session. These sessions are £35 each.
If you want to come to any of the sessions – either as a ‘regular’ or as a one off / ad hoc – just message me and we can arrange.
I hope this gives you a few options. Let me know if you fancy any.
Any questions, give me a shout.
