Swim Progress: Take A Step Back

Sometimes you forget just how far swimmers have come. You see improvement but the scale of the swim progress isn’t always apparent.

Take a step back, and look at a longer time period, and it becomes clear.

It’s a bit like when you’re a child and you haven’t seen your aunty for a while. “Oh, haven’t you grown!”

Take one of our Swim Squad swimmers.

Yesterday, she swam almost 20 seconds quicker than her last 400m TT in October.

Fantastic.

Step back more than a year, to her swimming before she became a regular at Swim Squad, and you can really see the improvement.

1 minute and 40 seconds quicker.

This swimmer has gone from a 7.48 to a 6.08 for a 400m.

✅ Two Swim Squad sessions per week
✅ Positivity.
✅ Enthusiasm.
✅ Work ethic.
✅ Love for the sport.
✅ Constantly chasing the feet in front!

Amazing progress!!
